originally, i wanted to blog about stuff that happened in the last few weeks of the sem. including my messing up chem lab and nearly not being able to complete my lab properly, getting picked up by some weird guy at science while trying to pass up the report (that guy has weird taste that's all i can say). but towards the end of the exam, some stuff happened and i'm no longer gonna blog about those.
as a child growing up in my family, i've always had to watch the news. and one thing that puzzled me as the years passed was the trend that there were more breakthroughs in science to help those who had gone deaf/had difficulty in hearing to regain their hearing while such breakthroughs were much fewer for the blind/visually disabled. i've always thought that the sense of sight was much more important than the sense of hearing.
but after what happened, i can't say the same thing now.
i just hope that yesterday marked the end of the nightmare, and not the start of it.
uncharacteristically pessimistic i know, but when it comes to things like this who won't worry?
