went out with alvina and yanting to jurong point yesterday. haven't had so much fun shopping in quite a long while. maybe because i've only started shopping regularly recently haha. tried on quite a lot of clothes but ended up not buying anything cuz i m fussy they didn't look nice on me. but yanting managed to find a tank top (in a colour which she normally doesn't wear lol) but alvina didn't manage to get her shoes even though she was damn tempted quite a few times to buy a few pairs of shoes. however she, like me, 没收获 yesterday. haha.

oh and i realised that the tuition rates for primary school students are much lower than secondary school students. which is quite sad cuz i don't think i wanna take sec sch students. :I oh well. got income can already. haha. but that will be when i finally get a tuition job. heh.

haven't really been updating as often as i used to, as mentioned in earlier posts. which is quite ironic given that i used to update more often than i do now when i was studying for As last year. haha.

went out with alvina last week on monday. i THINK i saw my primary school classmate but i wasn't really sure so i didn't go and say hi. actually i didn't really notice him cuz i was messaging as i was walking along the road and probably wouldn't have seen him if not for the fact that i noticed that someone who was walking in my direction was staring at me for what seemed to be longer than normal. which led to me looking up and seeing him. but since i wasn't sure and didn't exactly feel like getting myself into some embarrassing and super paiseh situation if i recognised the wrong person i just walked past him. heh. but given the fact that he didn't approach me then i take it that it's either not him or he seriously can't recognise me cuz i was wearing contacts. ahahahahaha.

went out with shermaine, wanqin, hueykia, huifang on monday for v day gift exchange and movie. ended up watching slumdog millionaire. it was quite good but got a little draggy towards the end. yup. would have stayed out for dinner if not for the curfew. oh well. hopefully i can make it next time. =)

been super sian at home most of the time lately (can be seen from the fact that i can actually crap so much about meeting a primary school classmate like it was some major big event lol) especially since i can't find an admin job with the right timing or a tuition job that i can take up. but it still feels like i m working part time at home. as a 1)part time housekeeper assistant 2)secretary 3)clerk. but unfortunately, all this is done pro bono. and i desperately need money cuz i suddenly feel like shopping lately (which is quite rare). and no income = no capital to spend = don't feel like spending. the nickelback cd which only cost less than 20 bucks is already making me feel guilty already. looks like i have an overactive conscience when it comes to money haha.

okay slacking time over. shall return to being a clerk.

all this tolerating and pretense is getting really tiring. i don't see the need in doing such things when they only end up being part of a vicious cycle.

haven't blogged for quite a while due to the lack of activity in my life. anyway here's an update of what has been going on recently:

10th jan - met up with alvina, beatrice and yanting and went to taka where we shopped(unsuccessfully) for clothes. talked quite a lot over lunch to catch up with each other.

17th jan - met up with shermaine, wanqin, hueykia, huifang at minds cafe where we had lunch and played some board games. the board games there weren't all that fantastic but it was nice to see and catch up with them after so long.

22nd jan - went out with yanting to IMM to shop for clothes for her. was quite fun but we didnt manage to get anything =S

24th jan - forced to skip a class gathering to prepare for reunion dinner. while my class ppl were having fun at the gathering i was washing french beans, washing carrots, washing cabbage, worrying about the amount of gas left and whether it was enough for cooking, clearing up the scraps of food that fall onto the floor and the table, chopping garlic, frying tau gua and mopping the floor. btw the cooking was only finished at midnight.

25th jan - continue helping out for reunion dinner stuff. basically somewhat similar to the day before except for the fact that i had to get rid of a worm(or caterpillar or slug or something like that) on the chestnuts while being totally freaked out. the food for the reunion dinner was good but i wasn't exactly in a mood to enjoy it.

26th and 27th jan - CNY. visiting. collect angbaos. lol.

29th jan - went out with yanting to JP to shop at the shops in the new wing. ended up discovering the pepper lunch outlet (which btw is in feast by kopitiam), but still didn't manage to buy anything.

1st feb - spent the whole afternoon in the kitchen helping out to make popiah (again).

seriously need to get a job or something to occupy me. the long periods at home are killing me. =S
