It's over. The last concert for the sec 4s. It seems surreal. 4 years in choir just ended just like that. the sadness comes flowing,sadness from leaving the choir and your juniors, yet it's happiness you feel at getting more free time. Mixed feelings indeed.

i know i haven't blogged in quite a while. basically i have been busy with choir concert stuff and other school stuff i had to clear up. so here's an update on what's been happening...

7/7 : choir concert
okay.. basically it went quite well except that there were 2 songs that might haf been better... but overall it rocked. seriously. the dance was great, shinjiru was wonderful, and the pianist was pro.=) and the seniors came!! was so happy to see them cuz i didnt expect anybody to come and see the concert. yup=) and for ONCE i didnt screw up my make up. heh.

8/7 : choir practice with alumni for family concert on 22/7
couldn't make it cuz i was down with really bad flu, sore throat, fever, the works. actually it was already there on thursday but i ignored it and went on with the concert and everything. but apparently i cldn't make it thru to saturday. yup. went to the doctor who put me on a course of antibiotics for a week. was blowing my nose like mad. and i sounded more like i was croaking than talking. haha.

10-14/7 : the school week
was pretty okay with the exception of the math test that totally sucked like hell. watched gattaca. was a bit freaked out because of the possibility of such a thing happening in the future. anw, abt the math test... my freaking calculator played me out and made me leave an 8 mark qn blank, and me panicking due to lack of time caused me to forget how to do a matrice qn and i promptly rmb how to do it when the math teacher stepped out of the classrm. lastly, there was an integration qn (3m) which i left blank because i cldnt do the part in frnt which also cost 3m. wow. i m so failing this math test.

15/7: choir prac with alumni again and chinese drama performance
didn't manage to go for the latter because i had 2 go for the former. yup. and a grand total of 4 sec 4s showed up along with the sec 1-3s. ended earlier than expected and slept on the bus ride home because i was so damn tired. the doctor changed my medicine on thursday to a stronger one cuz i had fins my earlier course of medication with no results. so yup. i was pretty much conked out.

CO concert was quite good. oh n i saw lotsa ppl too. but seriously, what happened after the concert and before the concert was pretty close to what you might call a disastrous monster of a catastrophe.

today was fun. the funfair was really worth all the effort. we reached school at 7.00am to start preparations, setting up stalls and all that. and then at9.00, the funfair officially started. (some ppl were already buying stuff at abt 8+???) yup. then for the first hour, the candle game was totally dead because there was SO MUCH wind, all the candles got extinguished even before people cld come. yup. then at 10+, we tried again, and altho it wasnt really v stable, it cld work to a certain extent(luckily). and the other game, hole-y shit, was a hit with many, young and old, while the candle game attracted the younger ones. and i promptly got squirted in the face not once but twice by the same kid who apparently thought it would be FUNNY if he squirted PEOPLE in the FACE instead of candles. not amused. in fact i was quite pissed, cuz anyone standing at the position i was in would have been already ravaged by water from accidents with the spray can, soap water from the next stall, hot wax from the candles due to the spraying of the candles leading to the splattering of wax. not to mention i got burnt by wax countless times when lighting candles, oh n i burnt my thumb and its nail with the lighter twice, and it became chao ta. so ya. i wasn't amused when the kid decided to shoot me in the face.

anw, i digress.

so, yup. other than that, the work was pretty fun. i enjoyed working with the rest of the ppl in the game i was manning, and it was satisfying to see people enjoy the game. oh n my sister came. heh.

other than that, i played the Uncle Ringo derby game thingy. i was super lucky that day. played four times, nearly won once and won the last time i played. and got a stuffed fish. that is PINK and orange. and ya, it's goin to my sis cuz no way am i gonna keep something that's PINK.

oh n i went home, ate cold noodles my kind sister cooked for me and promptly fell aslp on the sofa frm 6+ to 9 wif no idea how i did that. lol.
